A Visit to Remember

Inspired by the surrounding landscape, Creekside Comfort NC was designed to make your visit a unique, relaxing, and enjoyable experience.

Creekside Comfort NC is a charming, 3BR/3BA cabin on a rushing creek in a cozy, wooded mountain setting at the foot of Grandfather Mountain. Nearby access to some of the best hiking in NC, including the Grandfather Profile Trail, with the trailhead and parking less than a mile from the cabin.  Experienced hikers can access the trailhead directly from the neighborhood.  This cabin is conveniently located just off of HWY 105 between the Boone & Blowing Rock area and just around the corner from Sugar Mountain; central to much of what the High-Country offers.

The setting is unique, as you have both a "tucked in the woods" feel and it is located on Shanty Creek with seasonal mountain views, looking up at the peaks of Grandfather Mountain. The wood-burning outdoor fire pit, by the creek, is a wonderful place to gather. There is a covered front and side porch, as well as a covered rear porch and an open-air deck with an outdoor dining table and eating bar that over-looks Shanty Creek. A gas grill is provided off of the kitchen entrance. There is level parking for 3 vehicles. 

Entering the Great Room on main level you walk into a soaring vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings and hardwood floors, a gas log fireplace, a large HDTV with DVD Player, and comfortable leather furniture.

Kitchen and Dining feature a large dining table that can comfortably seat up to 6 guests and has a fully-stocked kitchen with granite counters. Next to the kitchen is a pantry with a high-efficiency washer and dryer and a large mudroom with access to the side porch. 

King Master Suite with a full ensuite bathroom and HDTV is on the main level.

Second King Bedroom with an attached full bathroom is on the main level with HDTV.

Full bedroom w/ 2 full size beds on 2nd floor with TV shares full bathroom which includes a shower/tub combo.

High-speed WiFi Internet, premium digital cable programming on all 4 TVs, a DVD Player, a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, a cabinet with games and puzzles are all provided. 

Dogs are permitted with a maximum of 2 dogs and a 50-pound weight limit per dog. Standard pet fees will be applied.

Creekside Comfort is located at the end of a short, but typical, winding mountain road. FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE AND/OR CHAINS ARE NEEDED TO NAVIGATE DURING SNOWY ROAD CONDITIONS.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. But you may recover the entire amount if travel insurance is purchased and the reason for the cancellation is covered.

The $59.00 charge listed as “Damage Protection” on your quote covers your required purchase of $3000 accidental damage protection on this property.  This protection is purchased in lieu of cash security deposit.
